Ziti's Worcester

This is a fairly new restaurant - opened in old Roma's location on Harding street. There is also a Westboro location having been open many years. We went in on a Wednesday night - usually not a busy night and this was no exception. At the time it was BYOB but a recent item in the Telegram indicates they now serve beer and wine with full liquor coming soon. To start we ordered a pizza bread appetizer, then placed our entree orders. Our entrees of ravioli and tortelli came with the same red sauce, which was bland and tasteless. After several requests we were provided some bread - at which time our server recalled that we never received our appetizer - which he promptly blamed on the kitchen. Below average food and below average service - Worcester is blessed with an abundance of fine Italian restaurants - skip Ziti's and go to one of them.

City Park Grill Worcester

Stopped in to check out this new restaurant. Tried the potato skins, buffalo tenders and the crab cakes. All were "ok". The buffalo tenders looked to be chicken patties rather than the traditional chicken tenders. They were having issues with their taps that night so it was bottled beer time. One negative - while they advertise several deserts - at 10 PM on a Satutrday night they were "all out" of every desert. Seems strange. Overall it will be worth another try in a few weeks.

Pepe's Worcester

We stopped in late one evening - unfortunately too late to dine. The atmosphere is very nice - good TV for the game. Parking was no issue - a small lot in front and parking on the street.
We'll be stopping back to try the food soon.

Loft 266 Worcester

Checked out some of the new dining spots last week.

Loft 266 - good atmosphere, good bar. We tried the potato skins - they didn't appear to be the usual TGIF out of a box and were quite good. Bartender was attentive. Live music on Thursday - not my thing but it didn't interfere with the game. No problem finding a spot on the street.
